DuPont Titanium Technologies raises all Ti-Pure titanium dioxide prices in Asia

Mar 12, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- DD | news | PowerRating | PR Charts -- DuPont Titanium Technologies, a manufacturer of titanium dioxide and part of DuPont (NYSE: DD | news | PowerRating | PR Charts ) reported on 11 March a price increase for all DuPont Ti-Pure titanium dioxide grades sold in the Asia Pacific region with effect from 1 April 2008, or as permitted by contract. The prices for all titanium dioxide grades (TiO2) will reportedly increase USD120 per ton in Asia, except China and Japan.

 

The prices in China will increase by CNY1.2/kg with effect from 1 April 2008, or as permitted by contract. A price increase for Japan was already releasedon 29 February 2008. The increase in price have been offset by the increase in input costs associated with raw materials, energy, fuel and transportation to support customers needs in the growing Asian markets.
